The model 3CW is a 63 mm, 2.5″ diameter bi-metal thermometer with a 304 stainless steel case, bezel and stem which provides excellent thermal conductivity to the bi-metal element.

Single scale °C dials are standard but °F scales are available on request. Temperature ranges available from -40 °C to 250 °C. This thermometer is suitable for temperature measurement of liquid and gas within pipelines, tanks, plant machinery etc.

The 3CW is a sealed gauge and able to be liquid filled with silicone and therefore suitable for processes that are subjected to vibration. The liquid filled 3CW will reduce pointer flutter. Accuracy of the 3CW may be reduced to ±2 % when liquid filled.

Stainless steel pockets are available on request. The close tolerance fit between the sensor element and the pocket ensures excellent conductivity.
N.B. Use a pocket or thermowell to protect your temperature instruments from process systems where pressure, velocity, or viscous, abrasive and corrosive materials are present. A thermowell allows safer removal of an instrument at the time of replacement, repair or testing without affecting the process system.
