The standard selection is Type K, 150mm long with a small head. If a Transmitter is required, a large head must be selected.

Type K thermocouple sensors are general purpose, high temperature (-270~1100 °C) probes suitable for use in an oxidising environment. Type J wire is also a high temperature (-210~800 °C) but for use in a reducing environment.

The aluminium head is IP67 and provides ease of installation. Wire from the process controller is attached to terminals in the thermocouple head allowing probes to be replaced easily in the field.

Teltherm are able to supply hand held thermometers, controllers and indicators in order to supply / log the readouts for your probes.

Different thermocouple wire options, various types of resistance thermometers and sensors with higher accuracies are available.
