Ceramic Pottery Probe c/w Terminal Block

The SD056 has a ceramic sheath and holding tube. The terminal block is an affordable method of wiring the probe to the kiln's controller. Select either of the standard probe stem lengths of 150 mm (6") or 225 mm (9").

Contact Teltherm if you require technical assistance or if you require options that are not shown.

Select a K or R type thermocouple. Type K wire is a general purpose, high temperature (-270~1372 °C) wire suitable for use in an oxidising environment.

Type R thermocouples use a platinum-rhodium alloy containing 13% rhodium for one conductor and pure platinum for the other conductor. Type R thermocouples are used up to 1600 °C.

Teltherm supply hand held thermometers, controllers and indicators in order to provide the readouts for these probes.
