The model 4SSA is a 100 mm, 4" diameter, bottom entry bi-metal thermometer with a 304 stainless steel case & bezel, a polycarbonate window, and a 316 stainless steel stem with rust & corrosion proof properties.

Single scale °C dials are standard but °F scales are available on request. Temperature ranges available from -40 °C to +500 °C. This thermometer is suitable for temperature measurement of heavy duty plant conditions.

The gauge head of the 4SSA is sealed & able to be liquid filled with silicone - suitable for processes that are subject to vibration. The liquid filled 4SSA will reduce pointer flutter. Accuracy of the 4SSA may be reduced when liquid filled.

The stem length varies & can be customised to suit. Thermowell pockets are available in AISI 316 stainless steel standard or nickel plated copper alloy pockets are available on request. The close tolerance fit between the sensor element and the pocket ensures excellent conductivity.
