The Thermoprobe TP8 portable electronic thermometer employs a stainless steel probe with a Class A platinum RTD detector. Its measureable range is -10 to 188 °C (14 to 370 °F). Intrinsically safe. Explosion Proof.

Resolution 0.1 °C and best accuracy ±0.1 °C (0.2 °F). Compact, with cable storage, probe holders and handles. Includes stretch cord grounding assembly and carry strap. Window is scratch resistant, and switch is o-ring sealed. Enclosure made of extruded aluminium.

Low battery and fault indication. Made from non-sparking materials immune to petrochemicals. Probe cable is static-dissipating and non-stick. Runs on one 9 V battery. Photo sensor controlled LCD backlight.
